School Rules

  • NO MOBILES ARE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL. MOBILES MUST NOT BE SEEN OR HEARD!!!
  • Mobiles that are either HEARD or SEEN will be taken from students; no exceptions will be made.
  • First offense: Phone will be taken away and parents will be informed.
    • Students will be required to give their mobile to Admin every morning and pick it up at the end of the school day.
    • If students forget to give in their mobile to Admin in the morning, it will be taken away until the end of the academic year!
  • SMART WATCHES are NOT allowed in school.  Any smart watches will be confiscated if students enter the school wearing them!
  • Arriving late to school: Students who arrive to school after the gate closes at 7:45 AM and after the class starts at 8:05, will wait Standing up in the garden, and will receive 2 behavior points. Every 10 times a student arrives late, he/she will receive 1 suspension.
  • Late students are not allowed to make-up work missed in the first lesson, and will lose all class work points.
  • Behavior Policy: every 20 behavior points, the student will receive (1) out of school suspension. After (3) suspensions, students will receive a Final Warning Letter and a parent conference will be scheduled. After the (4th) suspension the student will be expelled permanently.
  • New Policy: Suspensions will be now CUMULATIVE! (the number of suspensions will be carried forward into the following school years). In order to ERASE the suspensions of the previous year, students must spend ONE whole year without any suspensions.
  • Each student is allowed A MAXIMUM OF  25  absences all year long. All absences should be justified from the sports club for sports events and an official doctor’s report if  sick for a major reason.
  • Uniform Policy:  students must come to school in proper uniform. No excuses will be accepted (e.g. laundry issues or ripped pants). All pants must be dark grey, gabardine material and wide legged. NO SKINNIES AND NO CARGO PANTS!
  • P.E pants should be plain black or dark blue, wide legged and not in cotton material. NO SKINNIES!
  • Procedure for make-up work: IT IS THE STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY TO APPROACH TEACHERS TO ARRANGE FOR WORK THAT IS MISSED WHEN ABSENT!
  • Textbooks: students are responsible for their textbooks. Any lost book may result in paying the full price of the book. Students who don’t return books at the end of the year personally to Miss. Rasha or Miss May (gr.9) and Mrs. Menna (gr. 10) according to their book numbers, will be fined.
  • Hands-off Policy: Any physical contact, bullying, bad language or inappropriate physical behavior may result in immediate suspension, break detention or behavior points.
  • Uniform should be correct and clean at all times. Students will be sent back home if they are not in proper uniform.
  • Students are not allowed to leave school early unless parents collect them.
  • Students who will cause discipline problems follow the student conduct code.
  • Some parents allow their sons to come to school driving their own cars or riding motorbikes. This is very dangerous and we will have to take action to stop it.
  • School fees must be paid before the beginning of the school year according to payment policy.
  • There will be no registration for the final exam for any subject studied outside the school.
  • Classes will not stop for the November/January exams.
  • Classes may run on Saturdays and in the afternoons till 4:00pm.

School Uniform

Students must always wear their proper uniform at all times during school hours, failure to do so will result in taking action and will be considered as breaking school regulations.
The uniform consists of :
Navy blue polo shirts, white t-shirt for P.E and winter jacket. These items are purchased from the school and any other similar garment will not be accepted.
Dark grey trousers and black leather or training shoes .
Jeans are not acceptable.
Boys :
Hair must be trimmed and neat (no gel or spikes)
Girls:
Hair should be tied.
No make up, no nail polish and no jewelry (stud earrings only)
